My ABC7 Tour Experience

I've heard a lot about how stations are run but never had an opportunity to look inside until recently. Walking into the station I was aware of a lobby that had someone waiting at a desk right in front of you to check you in and those chairs and tables that had numerous amounts of magazines stacked like it was the leaning tower of Pisa, but what I didn't expect was through those security doors. It peaked my interest when I was introduced into a meeting room where the table reached from one side of the room to the other that probably fit a dozen people. Small cozy rooms for editors filled with more than one screen, a huge television room and sound room filled with small televisions with two people waiting to call on when a program was transitioning to the news. Despite all this what really surprised me were actual reporters in one room with multiple cameras that were moved around by one lady, and a weather reporter that casually sit at his computer until he was called in and wen...

Project 1 - Overall Process

So for the last couple of weeks I was tasked with working on a project for USTA. My process so far consists of a crewsheet, boardomatic, and styleframes.
